Mike brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the families working with Advantage College Planning of Buffalo.

Mike has spent 20+ years in education and has served as the Director of Operations, Director of Guidance, Director of Admissions and Financial Aid, and Athletic Director during his career. He recently served as the Founding Director of Operations at The Buffalo Creek Academy Charter School (Buffalo, NY). In 2013 he opened an independent educational consultancy in a part-time capacity, where he began to help families navigate the complex processes surrounding both university and secondary school applications. In this role, Mike found his passion for helping families. In the fall of 2021, he decided to take his passion full-time, becoming the first franchisee of Advantage College Planning.

Mike started his education at the Nichols School before finishing up at the Trinity-Pawling School (Pawling, NY) in 1994. He then matriculated to the State University of New York at Oswego, where he studied Criminal Justice and Psychology. Later, he completed his Master's studies in School Counseling and Educational Leadership at Canisius College in 2008.

In his free time, Mike likes to spend time with his family. He is an avid reader and skier and enjoys his daily walk through Delaware Park and Hoyt Lake.
