Her background also offers valuable insight into selecting courses intentionally from 8th grade through senior year.
An advocate for study abroad experiences, Katie encourages students to explore international university options, gap years, and short-term study abroad opportunities. She believes in travel as a powerful form of experiential learning that broadens global perspectives and enriches personal growth.
Outside of college advising, Katie lives in Youngsville, NC with her husband, twin daughters and black lab, Daisy. She enjoys reading, swimming, hiking and any opportunity to be outdoors with her family.
Katie’s goal is to ensure that each student is well-prepared, confident, and ready to succeed in their next academic chapter. She looks forward to working with you!
