Allison Bingham

College Planning Consultant

With a passion for guiding young minds towards their fullest potential, Allison comes to Advantage College Planning with a unique blend of experience in youth ministry and college admissions. With over two decades of experience working closely with youth and in college admissions at UNC Chapel Hill in honors recruitment, she has developed a deep understanding of the challenges and aspirations that shape their educational journeys. She specializes in helping families navigate the complexities of academic planning, college admissions, and personal development. She brings a compassionate and personalized approach to guiding students through the college application process. She understands that each student is unique, with their own set of talents, passions, and dreams, and she is dedicated to helping them discover and showcase their individuality to colleges and universities.

Allison earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Communication Studies and a focus on Interpersonal Communication.  She is currently completing the College Admissions and Career Planning certificate program at the University of California at Berkeley.

When not working with students and families, Allison loves swimming competitively through the Raleigh Area Masters, reading fiction from Southern authors, and baking fruity desserts. She is married to her college sweetheart, and they have three children ranging in age from 4 to 17. To complete the chaos, she has two cats and one big, lovable Golden Retriever.
