With nearly 20 years of higher education experience, Holly brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team at Advantage College Planning. With roles in Residence Life, Student Activities, Student Services, Admissions, and New Student Orientation programs, Holly is enthusiastic about helping young people find a college home where they can thrive.
Most recently, Holly worked in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at UNC Chapel Hill reading applications and making admissions decisions. Holly has a keen insight into what makes a strong application and is passionate about helping students present their most authentic selves and put their best foot forward toward the colleges of their choice. She believes wholeheartedly in the value of the overall college experience and the opportunity it provides for growth and development both inside and outside the classroom. Holly enjoys guiding students through the college application process, helping to reduce stress, build confidence, and make the journey feel less overwhelming.
Holly earned her Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and earned a Bachelor of Science at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.
When Holly is not supporting students and their families, Holly enjoys thrifting, reading, embroidery, and ballet classes at nearby studios. A midwestern transplant, Holly also enjoys traveling to the coast, the mountains, and exploring all the small charming towns North Carolina has to offer. She and her husband keep busy with their three children and big fluffy golden retriever.
